Subaru Forester and B-Quiet Automotive Sound Deadening

Subaru Forester and B-Quiet Automotive Sound Deadening

The Subaru Forester has been one of Subaru’s most successful SUV vehicles, its roomy, reliable and performs well on and off the road.  One of the problems with the Subaru Forester is the lack of Automotive Sound deadening or Sound deadener to help with the interior noise and road sound.

Automotive Sound Deadening

The B-Quiet.com Team owns a Subaru Forester and noted a huge amount of road noise, interior noise, mechanical noise and tire noise.   To fix this, we pulled apart the interior of the Subaru Forester and applied some automotive Sound Deadener in some key places.

Where to Put Automotive sound Deadener

In the Subaru Forester, we found that when you put B-Quiet Automotive Sound deadener, in the floors, on the doors, in the trunk and under the hood.

B-Quiet Extreme was put down on the floor, to do this the carpet was removed as were the seats.  The process was very simple an took about 4 hours.

Next, Automotive sound deadener was applied to the doors.  To do this, the interior panels were removed, and B-Quiet Extreme was placed on all metal surfaces inside the door skin and then the door.

The results were amazing.  The Subaru forester has become very quiet and the stereo can now be played at a much lower volume to attain a better sound quality.

How Much Does it cost to apply Sound Deadener to a Subaru Forester?

In all, it cost about $130 to completely outfit the B-Quiet.com Subaru Forester with enough Automotive Sound Deadener and the result was a drop of 10db in sound.  Buy yours today at b-quiet.com
